Do I need a visa for my child to attend the camp?

Visa requirements for attending our international summer camp in Scotland depend on your nationality and the country your child is traveling from.
 • EU/EEA Nationals: No visa is required for stays under 6 months. Simply bring a valid passport or ID card.
 • Non-EU Nationals: A Standard Visitor Visa is usually required for stays under 6 months. You can apply online through the UK government website. If you need assistance, we recommend contacting your local UK embassy for more details.
 • Citizens from countries with visa-exempt agreements (e.g. US, Canada, Australia): May not need a visa for a short stay. But make sure to check the UK’s latest visa policies before traveling.
Important: Be sure your child’s passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond their return date to avoid any complications at the border.

Will I receive updates during the camp?

Yes, you will have access to our private parent portal, where we will upload photos and highlights from each day of the camp. You will also receive notifications of any important updates or changes directly, keeping you informed throughout your child's stay.

Will I be able to speak to my child by phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, children will have access to their mobile phones at designated times throughout the camp. We organize these phone calls at the best moments to ensure they can stay in touch with family while also enjoying their camp experience without disruption.

Question 4

Is there medical staff on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have first aid-trained staff available at all times, as well as a medical team on-site, including doctors, nurses, and medical support staff. The camp has an onsite medical center and pharmacy for any medical needs. In case of an emergency, the camp is located just 10 minutes from the local hospital and emergency department (A&E).

Is insurance included?

Accepted Answer

Yes, insurance is included for all participants. Public liability insurance covers accommodation, campus facilities, catering, and sports areas. Passenger liability insurance and public liability insurance are also included for airport transfers and excursions.
